In the Istrian dialect, Konfin means “border” or “boundary”. The name is inspired by Istria’s position around the 45th parallel — an area traditionally regarded as the northern limit of olive cultivation. Here, tradition, the knowledge of olive growers and a modern approach to production come together in oils with a distinctive Istrian character.
